A raven that buries food while 1 other bird watches will often come back, dig the stash up, and hide it somewhere new.
The observer might return and steal the cache. In a 2005 experiment, ravens raced back to dig up their caches as soon as a bird that had watched the hiding came close.
None of that means ravens think like people. It means a raven tracks what another bird saw. Nothing about the spot changed; being seen was enough.
